To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:
- Hold a current Airman Certificate
- Hold a current Medical Certificate
- Have soloed in any fixed wing aircraft
- Be in an
approved program
at a New Hampshire Facility doing business as a Flight School or with another approved CFI
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be a U.S. Citizen and full time New England resident
- Demonstrate a financial need
- Use the scholarship funds within one year
Selection criteria will include:
- Attitude toward self and others
- Attitude toward aviation
- Dedication to career - serious work ethic and drive for excellence
- Ability to meet the planned aviation goals as shown by recommendations and academic records
- Previous achievements
- Financial need

To apply, applicants must:
- Submit the Application Form
- Submit the Flight School Recommendation Form (included with the Student Application Form)
- Submit a facsimile of the last two pages (or single page if it is the only page) of applicant's pilot log book
- Submit a copy of either birth certificate or passport as proof of citizenship
- Submit a letter describing
- How a Private Pilot License will help achieve the applicant's aviation and personal goals
- Where and when the applicant will attain a Private Pilot License
- Any previous scholarships, awards, and honors
- Financial need
